Linked With Kightly: A Replacement Winger

We will definitely be waving goodbye to Solano in the summer, and we are all aware that Ljunberg is a crock. Louis Boa ‘I shouted in the manager’s face’ Morte is appalling, so it is a nice breath of fresh air to see us being linked with a winger. Obviously Matty still exists, and Dyer should be returning but we will need some quality back up in those areas as both have a tendency to visit the physio.

The replacement could possibly come in the form of Micheal Kightly. The Wolve’s winger is valued at around £4m, and his previous Manager has hinted at a possible move to the Premiership…saying that one club has already tabled an offer.

He is only 22 and it is encouraging to see us linked with younger players. Core West Ham values pulsate around a thriving youth policy and it should be protected at all times. To see us offering young players contracts is pleasing, and to see us also being linked to good young prospects is amazing. Bring on the future!

  1. I’m rather disappointed with Nobby moved on, he’s still got a couple of years in him and he is a cool head in the midfield that can read the game better than anyone else we’ve got at the moment.

  2. i definitely agree with you there Hollis. If we had to get rid of two of our current wingers, i would say it should be Freddy and LBM.

although part of me does think that if freddy stays fit then he may be quite valuable.

but he doesn’t usually manage that!
