As we all already know, Sheff Utd are continuing with their appeal to claim between £25-£30m compensation off us for their relegation to the fizzy pop league.
They have recently submitted some new ‘evidence’ suggesting again that Carols Tevez was played illegally. The Guardian Series has this to say:
The main part of their case is that the Hammers allegedly played Tevez illegally in their own quest to avoid relegation, which in the end came at the Blades expense.
It’s good to see that they are still living the dream. We are likely to hear by the end of the month as to whether their appeal is successful, but let’s be honest, if one team gets compensation off another team because they were relegated it will open the floodgates for every relegated team to try and come up with some airy fairy story as to why they went down and then try to fleece another club of all their money. Can you imagine it?!
“Derby are sueing West Ham because we beat them 5-0, hence ruining their goal difference leading them to get relegated” – just an example of things to come if Sheffield United win their case. No chance.
I hope.
Sam

Yeah Sam you’re right, we bad losers should just accept that we were cheated. It’s terrible that we should want to present evidence to a hearing when we were prevented from doing so previously. Oh and we should definitely ignore the fact that the architect of the whole problem is now on West Ham’s payroll after threatening to give evidence against them. A total coincidence that!!
