Guess Who’s Back: Johnson to West Ham (again)

Once again we are being linked with Andy Johnson. This time apparently with a £9.5m take it or leave it offer. Apparently. This according to a couple of reports from Everton websites.

Like Sheff Utd not giving up the dream and Terrence Brown thinking we owe him money, this story has been persistent over the last year or so. And to be perfectly honest, if we are happy to pay £9.5m for him somebody has got to be pulling my leg.

Our fully fit strike-force is actually pretty good an it does beg the question, ‘do we actually need him?’

I know this isn’t really Curbishley’s game, but I would argue that a better option would be to spend less money on a younger player who isn’t dating the physio. Surely that makes more sense.

Surely

  1. PLease take him off us! he was good the sason before last but now it is just sad 10 goals this season is not good enough for a club as good as and as big as Everton FC.
