Tevez Saga: Wait Until August?

A report coming from a South Yorkshire based newspaper, The Star has reported today that the Tevez escapade may rumble on (at least as far as we know) until August.

The newspaper has suggested today that:

the Football Association will not force Sheffield United and West Ham to reveal the outcome of their latest arbitration before domestic competition resumes in August.

They managed to speak to somebody from the FA regarding the Tevez court case and they had this to say:

This is a private arbitration between two parties at which the FA has no involvement

It would be up to the parties to decide as and when they wanted to announce any outcome.

Obviously meaning that unless we want to release to the waiting world that Sheff Utd have successfully wasted a few months of their (and our) year taking this no-brainer to court as soon as we find out, we the fans may not know the outcome until August when the season starts. If then.

We may never actually know.

It will be like signing Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano on an “undisclosed fee” all over again…we will never really find out what actually happened.

I guess we will know promtish if we lost though when there is a mass exodus of players from Upton Park because we can no longer afford them! But that won’t happen.

Will it?

  3. What a load of….. you know what. Sorry but this is just stupid, Im not a hammers fan. Im a yid but my bro is a hammer and we talk about this, well quiet alot. If SU win this case then everyone will sue everyone, I might even sue my mother as she turned of the tv during the england germany match in 1990 and if shed have left it on. Im sure England wouldnt of lost on pens.
Yes WHU did wrong but they have paid for it, so SU should just accept it. They just had to draw there last game and they didnt, in the end they werent good enough to stay up. West ham were and have proved it since then.
As for the whole Tevez thing, how are Man U getting away with having Tevez on loan. Its that the same as what West ham had??? Something to think about.
