Well actually it would appear so. At least according to Kumb.com.
Apparently we are set to sign Hólmar Örn Eyjólfsson (David Pleat is going to have a field day commentating on this guy). He is an Icelandic teenager and comes with a very ‘highly rated’ sticker.
Here’s the thing though, he is a defensive midfielder/centre back….definitely something we need right now Curbs. Really essential. But I will give him a bit of a break because the guy is a youngster and that is something I think is very important for our progression.
I digress.
Well I suppose we have been calling for Curbs to sign somebody younger….he should have at least snapped up somebody who’s name we can all pronounce though. But I guess that is just being picky now!
He spent a trial period with us earlier in the year and it is to be expected that the signing is set to be confirmed at some time this week.

yeah, that is being picky! I couldn’t care less what his name is, it could be Ossama Hitler for all I care, so long as he’s a good player for the club, or potentially a good player for the club.

Agree with you there Adam. Terrace chants for the new boy Hólmar Örn Eyjólfsson could prove tricky – but lets face it, with an owner called Björgólfur Guðmundsson, a vice chairman called Ásgeir Friðgeirsson and a non exec director called Guðmundur Oddsson then there’s probably plenty more *******sons to come from Iceland – and they won’t be Frðzen Friessön, Sausage Röllssðn or Birds Eye Peássón !!!
