Scooby Doo And The Mystery Of The Transfer Rumour

So having written one post yesterday about recent transfer rumours and the likelihood of them happening, I can today formally announce some changes to that post. And, funnily enough, it’s not because we have signed any of the previously mentioned players.

So Lucas Neill is off to Galatasary then? No.

And we are signing Valon Behrami then? No.

Lucas Neill’s agent has said this:

It doesn’t make sense that a manager who brought Lucas to the club and has installed him as captain would look to sell him. It would be very strange. Lucas’ relationship with Alan Curbishley is good and he is relishing the role of captain

That’s that one sorted then.

As for Behrami, well that one has quite literally been laughed off. His representative said this yesterday when talking to Setanta:

The stories linking Valon with West Ham are pure invention.

The player wants to play in the Bundesliga, so therefore England isn’t amongst his priorities

Another transfer mystery solved.

Tune in tomorrow for more from Scooby Doo and the Gang

  1. This is not exactly a new concept this transfer rumours thing. 99% of them are bullsh*t, so hopefully you don’t write a story for each and every rumour emenating from the web.

  3. I heard that if you pull hard enough on Kia Joorabchians face it comes off to reveal a disgruntled ex-groundsman who wanted to spirals instead of lines in the turf.
