Personally my vote went for Bobby to stay but i have this sneaky feeling that it was'nt allways injuries that precluded him from team selection! Therefore to get approx. £5,000,000 for a player that was not going to be used, must be considered good business. As for TrevorH's comment "good money for average players" - a George Orwellesque phrase could read "All players are average but some are more average than others".If Fulham had purchased Pantsil and Cole then i would expect a drop in price of approx. £2,000,000. Both average players in Trevors eyes, so why the difference? As for'goals to games' ratios- swap this for 'goals per minutes permitted on the pitch' for a more accurate ability assessment! Good luck to them both at Fulham and a special thanks to Bobby for some great Barclaycard moments e.g. play off final and the goal at Highbury - priceless!
