Columbus Crew 1 – 3 West Ham: Several More Accomplished Performances

Although I havn’t been able to make it out to the mighty U-S of A, it would appear from reports that several of our players once again put in some accomplished performances during our 3-1 victory over Columbus Crew. Goals from Dean Ashton, Kyle Reid and an own goal from Brad Evans secured the result.

Players such as Jow Widdowson and Craig Bellamy both put in very praise-worthy performances according to reports.

I for one am particularly encouraged by that…particularly Joe Widdowson.

Bring on Thursday’s match against the MLS All-Star XI…it’s on Setanta and kicks off at 19:00 local time and if I do the math correctly 00:00 our time. I will be in it for the long-haul!

The amount of young guns from the Academy pressing their way to the senior squad is unbelievable.
