I am not a fan of BG, he is too far removed and I have seen very little that leads me to believe that the 5 year plan is going to be met. Each year they should be investing and they have done nothing and the same players we are counting on this season are the very ones that were injured for most of last, so forgive me if I do not see where we are going to do anything but struggle. If BG isn't prepared to invest to meet his 5 year plan find somebody who is and will. I want to see European football at this club I love but this "prudence" smacks of "oops what have I got myself into here and how am I going to minimise the damage". If Curbs is going to fail or succeed it must be based on having been provided all the resources that the club can muster to reach the target, this hasn't happened so far for this coming season whereas for most of our competitors it has and it pains me to say that we will not finish up the Spuds, Portsmouth, Everton, Man City, Villa, so the best we can hope for is 10th or even worse. I dont see how all this vitriol is going to help. Support the team and the manger and let the results decide this season. And yes i think something is going on at the board level we are on a brink of a global recession and though boring and uninteresting their course is prudent at the moment. But we need a replacement for LBM & still dont understand why we didnt keep freddie and sell him next season. Good luck west ham and to curbs. If the club wants to push on then it has a few weeks left in the transfer market to show that or it will be more of the same as last year. Those players that were injured last year have no devine right not to be this year, so what has the club done to minimise that risk and a stock take against the 5 year plan when we are half way in to it would make complete business sense. I think those that voted for curbs to get the sack, should still support him and the players, because getting on his back will not help! I also hope that curbs proves me wrong and goes on to finish in the top 7, which I will see as a good season, as the top 4 are obviously better than us, and in my opinion unfortunately so are Spurs and Everton currently, and I will be the first to apologise and say I was wrong!
