I’m hoping that you can take two things away from this article….where one West Ham players (was previously named, but decided to remove the name, just in case!) buys his clothes and who we are rumoured to be signing at some point in the transfer window.
Make of it what you will, I just felt that people should hear this:
A friend of mine was shopping in the haven of Essex, Lakeside, yesterday and saw a West Ham first team player (was previously named!) in a clothes shop called Choice (other clothes shops are available).
Somebody approached this player (thanks for that Scott!)and got chatting and my mate overheard this guy ask this player if we are going to be bringing in anyone else in the transfer window….the name that came as a response was, “Larsson”. No first names were given, but it pretty much narrows it down to two players…either Henrik Larsson or Sebastien Larsson.
Either that, or Curbishley is going to suprise us all with some mediocre youth player by the name of Larsson…who more than likely is injury prone and has some sort of link with Charlton.
I’m by no means saying that this is a done deal, but it is what was said!
We do need to bring in another stiker, but the Larsson of the Henrik variety is no spring chicken….as for Sebastien, he is primarily used as a right winger but has been known to fill in at right or even left back.
I’m am nearly 100% convinced that Curbishley is infact a hardcore collector of right wingers…and will not stop signing them till he completes the full set. Surely we don’t need another midfield….surely!
Sam

I am sure your friend misheard, it was not Larson but Hartson. yes the injury plagued overweight welshman. lets face it if you dont have injury problems you cannot apply for a job at WHU and as hartson is also Welsh, he is the ideal fit to keep thatcher company.

well it’s at least 95.5% which would qualify it as being rounded up to 100%…if you are working on the basis of 3 significant fiures

Sorry guys, but it was more like, “so do you think we are going to get any top quality signings?”
To which the reply was “you’re havin a Larf Son!”
Its becoming so painfully obvious we aint going to sign nobody guys.

Actually we are all wrong, he was referring to his gambling problem which he has resolved but is now being done for Arson as he did an insurance fiddle to pay the final balance to Sherringham.
Is there any danger of positive news, I read this morning (Australia) that Collinson, Tomkins, Dyer, Ferdinand, Bellamy, Quashi, Faubert,Spector are all still injured. Funny Fulham Manager has come out today and said his only potential injury is A Johnson everyone else is fit. what an earth do WH do in training that causes all these issues. Fortunaltley Curbs has his excuse again, cant put out my first choice team. I am praying that Ashton stays fit otherwise we are in real trouble.

[...] Larsson isn’t going anywhere (which is a shame, on more than one level because I posted THIS a while back about him joing us..oh well!) – Stendardo (centre back from Lazio) WILL NOT be joining [...]
