Through a deflected Valon Behrami effort, we have taken a 1-0 lead into the half time break. It has been a fast paced, action packed match thus far with a whistle happy referee.

We have had to endure several Sunderlan ‘seiges’ on our goal mouth and thanks to some solid defending from Upson and Collins, we have managed to so far retain them.

We are a times looking a little stretched and Sunderland probably being the more proactive of the two teams, but when we are on the ball, it is being passed around crisply and with pace (most of the time!).

A mistake by Anton Ferdinand just before the half time break nearly saw us score our second, but somehow Behrami hit the bar from about 4 yards.
