What an opportunity we have tonight! I think if Zola continues to keep the player’s feet on the ground after tonight’s game then a win could really see us push on in our season. I for one am pretty excited, but then as you know if you read my blog regularly, I am ever the optimist!

We are the form side going into the match, and Hull are on a very steady decline into Tottenham territory.

I’ve said it many times before in recent weeks, and I’m going to mention it one last time. Our next two league games after this are Arsenal and United…which we can’t expect much return from. It makes three points this evening that little bit more important, and it could see us climb to 7th – just 15 points of the top of the league. Well, you never know.

Anyways, as for team news, we have the luxury once again of a fully fit side to pick from (obviously not including Deano and that other guy – also, Dyer has some sort of muscle injury, not serious, but is unlikely to be ready just yet). Savio Nsereko (pronounced with a silent ‘N’ apparently) is likely to feature at some point, although I personally don’t think it’s worth starting with him just yet. No need to unsettle a currently on song strikeforce from the outset.

Hull do have the really quite lovely option to include new signing, and ex-West Ham boy, in their starting lineup this evening – could definitely be a threat.
