Good afternoon…first of all I must apologise for my absence this evening, I have important exams both Monday and Tuesday next week and really need to put it in over the coming couple of days. It’s unlike me to conciously miss a West Ham game, but sometimes these crushing decisions need to be made! I’ve made up for it with tickets to Everton though.

While I’m at it, that is also the main reason for being all quiet on the blogging front these past few weeks, as of next Wednesday everything will be back to normal!

As for my prediction, I am once again tempted to go with my heart. I do think that if we are going to win, it will be in the midfield. So, on the basis that our midfield have a good game I would put in a 1-0 Win. It will be a tough game and Liverpool have nothing to lose, but our defence and team spirit this year has proved to me that we can hold our own when push literally comes to shove (or kick in the thigh). So, with that considered, I’m going to go for a 1-1 draw.

I think I’ll just quickly see how that compares to Mark Lawrenson’s prediction….
