This mornings news is that Neil Warnock is sniffing around Freddy Sears with a view to a loan move. Am particularly interested in what people think of this because as far as I care, the guy needs to keep well away.
What right does he think he has to any of our players? I have nothing against Palace particularly, but this is the same guy who was desperate to take us to the cleaners when he took Scumbag United down after failing to inspire them to victory on the last day of our Great Escape. He just couldn’t wait to get his hands on a bit of our money, what little we have; and now he wants one of our players.
Jog on sunshine.
As far as I am concerned he severed all chance on bringing a bit of West Ham’s “Premiership quality” to any club he manages after the way he acted in the wake of relegating the Blunts, and I would be very disappointed if the club don’t realise this and put a stop to any potential negotiations. The same goes to if Sheffield United themselves decide they fancy one of our younger players, or in fact, any of the clubs who felt that they had a right to sue us…which includes off the top of my head, Fulham, Boro, Bolton and Wigan (by all means correct me if I’m wrong on that!)
As for Sears, I am personally a fan…but more of his potential than actual performances (the same goes for Savio). I firmly believe that the very root of what Sears is about is goalscoring and a few months of football with a Championship side, and then placing him alongside the quality of Ashton (rather than Tristan) could really bring the best out of him.
Loan deals seem to vastly accelerated the development of Tomkins, who has been truly outstanding this year, and I wish Sears all the best and look forward to seeing a more complete player when he comes back…
IRONS!
Sam

I agree thet Freddy has yet to reach anywhere near his obvious potential and indeed show follow “Tonk” and get out on loan next year. Perhaps Reading or West Brom as they try to play the right way in my opinion and are likely to be challenging. Maybe to the Italian Hoops (QPR) could be another good one.

Damm right Sam, We owe him for over a year of drawn out agony and abuse. the only thing we should send him is down again at the next oppourtunity and if his beloved SU come up via the play offs i hope to cause him some more heartbreak by sending them down as well.

Issue a writ on Warnock for undue arrogance with intent to cause further injury to West Ham United supporters? Got to be worth a mil!

Let Warnock take Freddie Sears on loan on one condition.
That he makes a public apology for all that he has said against West Ham in the last two years and that he retracts everything both on Sky and the newspapers.
It would be worth it.

Just got back from a stroll in the park and realised a stench was following me – only to find Warnock had attached himself to the soles of my shoes. The audacity of the obnoxious little turd !!!

Yes Freddie should go out on loan for that much needed experience that he really is lacking.
And why not Crystal Palace? West Ham could pay him massive bonuses to score as many own goals and shots glaringly wide as possible.
But seriously Crystal Palace is not the right location for Freddie, Warnock has proven time and time again that he is not the best manager by a long shot so what could Freddie learn there? Sweet FA that what, well I suppose he could learn to whinge and blame everybody else for his own short comings but thats about it.
The championship is the best place for him now and why not at a place like Derby or even Newcastle/Sunderland/Hull/Middlesborough Delete whichever applies after the weekend.
just not another London club if we can help it. oh and nothing that the Blunts can sue us for as I’m sure they will try and find something wrong with any deal set up

Sheff U better win their promotion play off final or else West Ham are stuffed. Wait for the compensation claims, they are good enough to think of some garbage to bring Wham into it…lol. Actually want to know people’s thoughts…would u like them to come up so we can play them again, or do u want to see them rot in the CC??
