After all, for the most part, the players that turned up weren't actually chosen by him. He just got a bit over-excited and went on a mission to make sure the managers choices arrived. Maybe he'd be more careful if it was entirely his money he was spending? There's going to be loads of stories flying around about possible take over bids right now, especially since West Ham seem to be the great tabloid story generator.
