I'm not even sure we need to bring many people in at all...I just think the 'down in the dumps' mentality needs to change. I think Diamaniti needs to start along with Franco. They're the two players who have shown intense passion for the cause. I think Parker has been quality this year but he can't do it on his own in midfield. I also think that one of the main problems is not having a consistent backline for enough of the season. West Ham were by far the better side in last year's fixture and we were lucky to get the win. They look a shadow of that team now. Consistant Collins. yeah we did need money for a striker but our transfer policies have never been right since the pardew days... to this day i still think pardew should of stayed at west ham as manager. he had a right philosphy at the club, bringing in hungry players, i think the fans really dont give him enough credit. Benayoun, Konchesky. Harewood, Reo-Coker, COLLINS, ASHTON, Etherington, Zamora... it's sickening. pards bought the most obvious of players and get obvious performances, and he brought cole in too... yes his personal life got in the way of his job, and the club mnade him a scapegoat for poor performances.. i just think zola's got the right idea how to play football, but he has no experience in transfers... he needs to put his "potential" rule book down and concentrate on players who are "proven". i like zola, but i still belive pardew should be manager to this day. i hope that the ownership details are finalised for christmas as then we need to up the ante in the market and be beating teams like bolton. who would you recommend as suitable players to be wearing the claret and blue shirt... i know who i would buy... and it wouldn;t be their first spell at the hammers...
