So, as we’ve heard from SuGo, the whole squad is up for sale – except Parker.
Based on his performances so far this year, I’m pretty sure we could just play him on his own and we’ll do pretty well.
But anyway, here’s a list of our entire first team squad – who should stay and who should go? You decide…..just select the players that you think we should say goodbye to in the summer. Don’t vote if you just generally dislike a player, think about if we’ll be able to get in a better replacement. Also consider what they can offer us in the future – it would be easy to release say nine players from the youth team who may or may not have played in the first team – but remember, they may offer something special as they mature as players. I draw your attention to the much cited story about how Curbishley was ready to sell Collison to Peterborough for £300K.

I think the likes of Payne and Lee are being released at the end of the season which is more proof if it were needed of the penny wise pound foolish attitude of Gollivan.
Terry Dixon has also been released as part of a cost saving excersize yet we are quite happy it seems to pay Dyer and McCarthy to sit on their collective arses milk the club for £120k a week which is more than most of the 9 young players we released earned a year combined!

Sullivan is clearly not going to sell the entire squad and who would buy them all anyway? G&S have hardly proven themselves as shrewd operators in the transfer market, Ilan being the only one of their three signings to add anything to the team. Benni should go first after trying to sign him for the last five years they finally managed where all others failed. Benni wanted to play his way into the world cup, well he has,but Benni, be careful where you park your burger van.
